The I-69 Ohio River Crossing Project Team’s closer to deciding on a preferred route for the new bridge that will improve the i-69 corridor. The new corridor will be the I-69 Ohio River Crossing (I-69 ORX) connecting Evansville and Henderson. After the environmental impact statement announcing the preferred route, there will be a 45-day public comment period and formal hearings.
This fall, a preferred alternative will be identified & Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) published. Public hearings will follow on both sides of the river. Once all comments are heart, the project’s team will release the Final Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision on the bridge late next year.
