The Huntingburg Public Works and Safety met this past Thursday and approved routes for this year’s Herbstfest Parade and other events. The Huntingburg Herbstfest take place the last weekend of the month. The events also include the Trent Singer 5K Run, Walk and Bike Ride. This event, as you may know, happens during the festival.

Approved Herbstfest Routes

The Herbstfest parade starts at 2 in the afternoon on Sunday September 30. The parade will use parts of Fourth, Geiger and First streets leading to the Huntingburg City Park. The day before the run will begin at 9 in the morning. The run will use parts of 12th, 17th, Chestnut, 19th streets and County Roads 400 West and 500 South. This year, the run will begin in a new location. The run will begin at North Side Christian Church located at 311 E. 17th St..
