City of Jasper’s Dog Park Open Year Round

If you’re planning a move to Jasper and have an energetic, friendly, furry friend, you’re both in luck! The City of Jasper has a super fun dog park. Plus, it’s open year round from dawn to dusk. The park is fully fenced, so your pup stays safe from traffic. It’s actually located on the north side of Gutzweiler Park. It offers plenty of room for your dog to run and play with other dogs. It’s three-fourths of an acre of canine fun!

You have to register your dog to be able to enjoy the Jasper dog park though. So, if you’re interested, check out the web page. Then, register your pet at the Jasper Park and Recreation Department located at 1301 St. Charles Street. Of course, there is a small membership fee, but it’s totally worth it! You’ll have to sign a waiver and an application. Plus, you have to show proof of your dog’s vaccination records too. They must be up-to-date on their Rabies, Parvo, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines.
