Top Five Events For Teens Coming To The Ferdinand Branch Library In January
The Ferdinand Branch Library has tons of events and activities planned for January. Several events are planned for Ferdinand area teens as well. If you have a teen that is bored, help them stay out of trouble or make new friends by joining others their age at the library. Here are five events that are most likely to interest Ferdinand teens.
Keurig Café
The Keurig Café is a time set aside in the teen center from 3:15 to 4 p.m. on Mondays. This gives teens the chance to study, hang out or play a game with others in a safe setting. Plus, teens can choose between hot chocolate or cappuccino from the Keurig.
Teen Trivia
Every Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. at the Ferdinand Branch Library, there is a Teen Trivia event. This is a lot of fun. Teens answer trivia questions for chances to win prizes. The activity goes through the school semester before handing out fun prizes!
Snack Days
Snack days for tweens and teens is at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday January 15 and Tuesday January 29 in the teen room. Free snacks are provided. This is a great way to hang out with friends in a warm, safe environment.
Teen Craft: Snowflake
You have to pre-register for this crafting event, but it’s something to do with other kids in the area. It takes place at 3:30 p.m. on January 16.
Movie at the Library
On January 30 at 3:15 p.m., the Ferdinand Branch Library will show the movie “An Elephant’s Journey.” Teens are invited to come watch the show, enjoy some popcorn and hang out with friends in the warmth after school. The movie is 87 minutes long and rated PG.
