Do you remember the Nineties rockers and former MCA records recording artists The Why Store? We just wanted to let our former and future clients know that this band will actually be performing at the historic Astra Theatre in Jasper This Saturday! The Astra Theatre in Jasper will open its doors at 6:30 p.m.. Then, local and regional act Breathing Rm will perform at 7:30 p.m.. At 8:30 p.m. The Why Store will perform on the Jim & Pat Thyen Performance Stage. Tickets are just $18.95 for the main floor. The Why Store

The Why Store actually formed in the late 1980s in Muncie, Indiana, as some of you might remember. Lead singer Chris Shaffer and the band recorded their first album Welcome to the Why Store at that point. Then, the next year, they recorded Inside the Why Store. They were a regional hit. Then, in 1995, the band signed with MCA’s subsidiary Way Cool Music for their first major label effort. Here are a few hit singles you may remember from that self-titled LP:

• “Surround Me”
• “Father”

Breathing Rm

Breathing Rm is an indie rock group that plays regionally in southern Indiana. They expect to release their debut EP in the spring of next year.
