St. Joseph Catholic Church Offers ‘Blue Christmas’ For Sad Or Grieving Individuals

Sometimes, Christmas isn’t merry at all. The Stephen Ministry’s Blue Christmas addresses this special need. The Blue Christmas will be held next Wednesday, December 19 at 7:00 PM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. This will be a much more reserved event honoring of the birth of Jesus. There will be no festive songs and no distractions that evening.

Only reverent songs and prayer will take place. This is perfect for anyone who is having a difficult time and is not up for the typical Christmas Mass.

The congregation is welcome to invite friends or family members who have lost loved ones to join them, or grieving individuals are welcome to come on their own as well, we’re told.
