FULL TIME DEPUTY AUDITOR POSITION

The full-time deputy auditor position will be filled by someone with experience in public service and customer service. This person must be capable of keeping accurate records, multitasking and staying organized. A qualified candidate will be capable of exercising good judgment in complicated situations. They must be able to use standard accounting practices, interpret state laws, use basic math formulas for calculating things like: land values, tax rates, interest and tax exemptions. They must be able to communicate professionally and effectively. The salary for this position is negotiable and based on experience level.  The application deadline was last week, but the position remains on the Dubois County website.

PART-TIME SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNCIL COORDINATOR

The part-time substance abuse council coordinator position deadline is December 31st. The candidate for this job must have a college degree in health or social services or a related field. Previous job experience of a similar nature might allow for the degree requirement to be bypassed though. The candidate will have good communication and presentation skills. Plus, they will need good office and computer skills. They’ll have to be strong in public relations, able to work independently, and have great organizational skills. Good judgement for making sound decisions is required for this position too. This job will require a commitment to approximately 20 hours per month. The salary for this job is also negotiable based on experience.
