If you have a disability and need accommodations or need a translator’s assistance during Newburgh Town Council meetings or hearings, all reasonable accommodations will be made to assist you. If you wish to attend a Newburgh public meeting, but a language barrier or disability prevents you from full participation, we know just how to arrange for the implementation of these supports.
All you need to do is contact the Town Hall. Ask for Christy Powell. Christy is the Town Manager. The phone number is 812-853-1720. Please call at least one week before the town meeting, so that accommodations can be arranged.
The Newburgh Town Hall is located at 23 W. Jennings St. in Historic Downtown Newburgh. The Newburgh Town Council usually meets at 5:30 pm on the second and the fourth Wednesday of every month. The Newburgh Town Council meeting minutes are later available online. Originals of the minutes are maintained in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
