The Veterans’ Service Office in Dubois County helps area veterans learn about the availability of benefits. It serves the county’s honorably discharged veterans. The office helps these men and women applying for benefits they qualify for.
Included in these benefits: Health care available at outpatient clinics and the Louisville Veteran’s Medical Center. Additionally, veterans have the option for service at the clinic in Evansville affiliated with the VAMC at Marion, IL.
Plus, the office coordinates the use of the Disabled American Veteran’s vans housed at the Dubois County Security Center. The vans, donated by local veterans organizations, local contributions, and the national D.A.V., are driven by volunteer drivers. They help veterans with transportation to the clinics and hospitals.
Contact Bob Johnson, the Dubois County Veterans’ Service Officer by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 481-7090.
