Audubon “Party in the Park” Back-to-School Event Saturday

The Audubon “Party in the Park” Back-to-School Event is set for Saturday morning. It’s a great way to get back in touch with classmates at an outdoor event. It’s totally free and features a carnival games for kids, animal encounters and other activities. Plus, Albert Bauman will demonstrate how to make a clay pot on a potter’s wheel.

The Audubon “Party in the Park” Back-to-School Event takes place on Saturday from 10 am until 1 pm in the John James Audubon State Park’s Lakeview Shelter:

The Lakeview Shelter overlooks Recreation Lake and features a large parking area. There are 20 picnic tables in the area, electrical outlets, a grill and the large grassy landing down the hill which features a playground! So, bring a blanket, a picnic lunch and join other families for this fun back-to-school event near Evansville.
