Evansville’s United Caring Services served up 127,000 meals last year. It took thousands of volunteers, bit the shelter did it! Many times volunteers come in groups. For example, sometimes church groups or youth groups head to the shelter to donate their time.  The shelter serves three meals a day, every single day! It’s located on Sixth Street in downtown Evansville.

They accept donations of food (even food after catered events). They always need volunteers. Plus, they always can use extra supplies. Even if you just have left over unwrapped hotel soap, they can put them to good use.
