Handle Veterinarian Paperwork Before Moving For A Smooth Transition

If you are moving to the Dubois County area with a dog or cat, you probably already know how to keep your pet safe during the move. Many people plan for the big move day and have plans made for a safe transition. Also, make sure you get copies of your pet’s medical records to give to the new vet. Get these records before you actually move. Get a printed copy of the proof of rabies vaccination too, just in case your dog gets scared and bites a stranger. Even animals who have never bitten might end up snapping at a stranger, considering everything is completely different in a new home. Have your proof of rabies readily available. You don’t want it lost in a moving box!.
