Bathroom Cleaning Tip #1: Clean Your Shower and Tub, and Regrout if Necessary
you need your shower and tub to sparkle when prospective buyers are coming to see your home. Start at the top and work your way down. Use these tips to make sure it shines:
- Fill a plastic bag with white vinegar and securely tie it around your shower head. The vinegar will work overnight to clean your shower head.
- Wash your plastic shower curtain liner in the washing machine. Put it in with a few old towels, which will work to scrub it clean. As an alternative, you can replace your shower curtain liner instead.
- Scrub your shower door with a paste comprising distilled white vinegar and baking soda. You can apply it directly to the door and let it sit for an hour period when you rub it away with a microfiber cloth and rinse it, your shower door will be clean. then, squeegee the door to remove water droplets.

Bathroom Cleaning Tip #2: Steam-Clean Tile and the Walls
You can use a mix of baking soda and vinegar to scrub your countertops and sinks. Or, if it’s better for you, use an all purpose cleaner and turn on the shower at its hottest temperature. Let the steam build up for about 5 minutes, then turn off the water and close the door. The steam in the cleaner will work together, and after about 20 minutes, you can wipe everything down with a clean cloth.
Bathroom Cleaning Tip #3: Pay Special Attention to Baseboards
though prospective buyers probably won’t notice if you scrub the baseboards, they’ll almost certainly notice if you don’t. Get down on your hands and knees and scrub the area beneath your cabinets so it’s spotless, removing any dust, dirt or hair that’s gathered there.
Bathroom Cleaning Tip #4: Make the Floor Shine
Even if you don’t regularly use floor cleaners that make your floor shine, now maybe a good time to do so. Do you want your bathroom to look like a luxury space with a sparkling, clean floor, and the best way to do that is to make it shiny. there are several cleaning products that can shine your tile floors; just look in the cleaning aisle at your favorite supermarket.

Bathroom Cleaning Tip #5: Leave No Spot Behind on the Mirror
When buyers walk into your bathroom, the first thing they’ll do is look into the mirror at themselves. It’s just what humans do. That means you need to pay special attention to your mirrors and make sure there are no spots or streaks left behind after you clean. Turn on all the lights and look at your mirror from every angle to scout out tiny spots that buyers may notice.
Bonus Bathroom Cleaning Tip for Selling Your Home
Try to get everyone in your household to use only one bathroom while your home is on the market. That way, you only have to scrub one before a showing; the rest will only need a light cleaning.
