The VUJC Land Stewardship Initiative is a partnership between the Dubois County Soil and Water Conservation District and Vincennes University Jasper Campus.

The VUJC Land Stewardship Initiative is a partnership between the Dubois County Soil and Water Conservation District and Vincennes University Jasper Campus. The current mission of the VUJC Land Stewardship Initiative? To manage their cropland. The partnership is also built with a steering committee from many other Dubois County area organizations. Together, this coalition promotes soil health.

VUJC Land Stewardship Initiative Soil Health Practices.

They use innovative conservation practices. The cropland involved is moving over to a no-till system combined with cover crops. Over the years, soil health with the no-till practices is taken. The goal is to improve soil structure, improve organic matter content in the soil and promote an increase of cash crops yields.
