Last but not least is purely financial – Christmas is a time of bonuses! Many sectors of society hand out sizeable bonuses at this time of the year, and many people are looking to put them to good use, as sometimes it’s a tax issue to leave them sitting in a bank account. Why not use them for a down payment on a home? Particularly lower priced starter homes can be financed in this way – people may be able to put down twenty percent as a down payment from a holiday bonus! If that’s not merry, we don’t know what is!
