There’s nothing better than having fun with your family and friends while you’re getting fit, and the City of Huntingburg’s Annual “5-5-5” 5K Series is just the way to do it. There are myriad other activities going on in Huntingburg, too – check out what’s on the schedule for the next couple of months.

The Huntingburg “5-5-5” 5K

The City of Huntingburg is hosting 5K walk-jog-run events throughout the summer. The route starts and ends on East 4th Street between North Jackson and Van Buren. The run starts at 5 p.m. on:

Celebrating Fathers Event

Enjoy the evening at Huntingburg City Park on June 19, where dads (and kids) from all over the community will get together and celebrate.

The Huntingburg City Park is located at 203 South Cherry Street.

The Huntingburg Farmers’ Market

Every Saturday morning between 7 and 11, starting on June 27, you’ll find local farmers with fresh produce and other farm-to-table specialties. The Huntingburg Farmers’ Market is located in the Memorial Gym parking lot at the corner of Main Street and 6th Street.

YMI Picnic and Car Show

What better way to spend July 4 than checking out classic cars before heading to a fireworks display? The YMI Picnic and Car Show has you covered. Cars from 1900 through 2015 will be on display at this family friendly event. A beer garden, plenty of great food and games for all ages make it a fantastic way to spend the day.

The YMI Picnic and Car Show is an all-day event located on East 4th Street, one block south of YMI.

Summer Sidewalk Sales

Stroll through downtown Huntingburg on July 10, when retailers will be putting out their best deals all day. This bargain-hunter’s paradise is an all-day event that draws a lot of attention from Huntingburg residents and our neighbors in all directions.
