Congrats To Evansville Students Selected For Trip To Disney!
Congratulations to the students from Glenwood Leadership Academy, Cedar Hall School and McGary Middle School selected by faculty to head to Disney!
For those who haven’t heard, our very own local Evansville Police Department organizes an annual trip to Disney World through the Cops Connecting with Kids program.
“I get very emotional with this, I grew up in the inner city of Evansville, where a lot of these kids grow up, and to be able to give back all because I’ve been able to be successful in life and have a good career, and good profession, and then to bring people together on their behalf,” EPD’s Sergeant Jason Cullum told Tristate Homepage.
The kids headed out January 23, 2018 this year. This year, the kids’ trip means a stop at the Martin Luther King Jr memorial in Atlanta on their way back too!
It’s all very exciting! Congratulations to everyone involved!
