Harmonie State Park is located twenty five miles northeast of Evansville, on the banks of the Wabash River. The park offers bike rentals so that your biking experience isn’t delayed. If you wanted to go for the camping, Harmonie State Park is happy to oblige. With over two hundred campsites, the great outdoors is never in short supply. Like the bike rentals, the park also sells camping supplies for the ill-prepared. Hovey Lake
Nestled between the Ohio River and the Wabash River floodplains, Hovey Lake is a beautiful area for fishing, hiking, and camping. There is no admission cost; however, you do need licenses in order to fish, hunt, or trap in the area. The area has a long history and features a 1,400 acre lake after which Hovey Lake area is named.
