Registered voters in Dubois County: Apply for an absentee ballot ASAP if you think you’ll miss the upcoming election. Absentee-by-mail voting applications must be received by April 30. If dropping off the application in person, deliver it by 4 pm. If delivering it by fax or email, make sure it arrives by 11:59 pm. If you don’t meet this deadline, your absentee ballot application gets rejected.

Early Voting Locations

For the election, you must vote in your precinct’s polling place, but for absentee voting, you can vote at any available absentee voting location. It doesn’t have to be in your precinct during early absentee voting. The Dubois County Courthouse Annex seems like the preferred location this year.

Monday – 8 am to 4 pm.
Tuesday – 8 am to 4 pm.
Wednesday -8 am to 6 pm.
Thursday- 8 am to 4 pm.
Friday- 8 am to 4 pm.
Saturday- 8 am to 3 pm.
Next Monday- 8 am to noon.

Other Early Voting Locations for Saturday May 5 (8 am to noon):

• Dubois Library
• Ferdinand Library
• Huntingburg Event Center
• 35th Street Fire Station in Jasper

Additionally, Monday through Friday of this upcoming week, early absentee voters can stop in at the 35th Street Fire Station from 10 am until 6 pm.
