Just jump on their website and right on the home page you will find 3 Virtual tours: True to Nature featuring oil sketches made outdoors across Europe, Degas at the Opéra which has a a mixture of art and music great for Band & Music teachers, and Raphael and His Circle which shows art from Raffaelo di Giovanni Santi, the younger contemporary of Leonardo and Michelangelo.

The J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles offers virtual visitors a large collection of European artwork to enjoy. For example, you can view paintings and sculptures that are over a thousand years old. You can also view historical photographs and manuscripts. J. Paul Getty also has an abundance of Resources for Students including art techniques materials & concepts. As bonus they also have some educational Podcasts you can listen to including a free audio tour of Michelangelo’s artwork!

Google’s street view option lets online visitors see the iconic staircase at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. The virtual tour also includes famous works of art from several eras, including Contemporary and Modern.
