Besides, science shows you really do get what you pay for with this one – you are far more likely to bring in a higher amount for your house, enough that having an agent essentially pays for itself. You won’t regret it.

Yes, it’s true that the bathroom needs remodeling and the lime green shag carpet in the basement needs replaced…but in the end, it doesn’t matter. You’re going to fix up the house, spend all that time and money, and then maybe not even get back what you invested. Selling a home quickly means most of the time selling as is. Of course, your real estate agent may suggest slapping some new paint on the front door or replacing a falling down mailbox, and you should surely follow their advice.
