The Huntingburg, IN Farmer’s Market: A Summertime Spectacular

Held every Saturday from July through September, the Huntingburg Farmer’s Market is a celebration of warm weather and good food here in Huntingburg. This year, it begins June 27.

Organized by the Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce, this event is sponsored by Family Roots Nursery. The market provides a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy Indiana’s fabulous summer weather and to socialize with neighbors as well as area growers and crafters.

You will delight in meeting the people who grow your food and seeing their passion reflected in the quality of the delicious treats they bring to market. Vendors can purchase booth space for the whole season or just the day; so each Saturday at the market will have something new to discover as the year progresses.

Fresh, Local Goodness at the Huntingburg Farmer’s Market

Vendors sell just-picked produce, herbs, flowers and plants. The market only allows locally grown produce from Dubois and surrounding counties:

• Warrick

Buying local fruits and vegetables ensures you and your family are eating the healthiest and most sustainable foods. Even better, meeting the people who grew your food is fun! Kids are more likely to eat vegetables if they know who the veggies came from. “Eat your peas” could easily become, “Do you want the green beans from Mr. Allen or Mama Ginny’s carrots?”

You’re likely to find something different each visit, while enjoying the fresh air and the community atmosphere of Huntingburg’s tastiest summertime tradition.

The Market is held each Saturday morning this summer from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Memorial Gym parking lot, at the corner of Main and 6th Streets. It’s fun for the whole family!
