Jasper Engines’ Teen Street Survival Class Set For July 20

Jasper Engines is hosting a drivers’ training Street Survival class on July 20th. This is a useful class because it will help the teens learn how to control their vehicles even in unpredictable situations. It shows them based on the vehicles handling limits. So, they take this course in their car. The idea is that it’s better to know the car’s limitations before they are in an unexpected situation.

This class also helps them start anticipating how other drivers might react in certain situations. The class helps the teens know how to use their vehicle to the best of that vehicles ability to keep them safer with hands-on experience.

This class costs $95 per student driver. The price of the class includes all instructions, all coursework, and lunch.

There are some restrictions on the vehicles allowed to be used though. For example, trucks that have modifications that alter the center of gravity won’t work. If a vehicle has been equipped with a “lift kit.” That won’t be allowed. It also has to be in good mechanical condition. It can be a beater, as long as it’s safe. The vehicle can’t be leaking oil or gas. It actually can’t have any leaks at all. Plus, the tires have to have visible tread. These are vehicle conditions that aren’t considered safe and should be addressed anyway, with or without having to address the issues just to take this class.
