Featuring more than 850 homes, Christmas Lake Village spans 2,000 pristine acres. With three lakes within the community, as well as other lakes nearby – including Lake Lincoln in Lincoln’s Woods Nature Preserve – this neighborhood is an excellent place to live if you enjoy outdoor recreation. Even if you don’t have a lakefront home in Christmas Lake Village, you can rent a boat slip on Christmas Lake for $100 per year.

Golf at Christmas Lake Village

Designed by Edmund B. Ault, the 18-hole championship golf course in Christmas Lake Village is definitely a great place to play. As part of the Christmas Lake Golf Club, which is one of the top 75 public courses in the United States, this course is also home to the Back 9 Grill and some of the most challenging play in the state.

Christmas Lake Village is a gated community, and there’s a 24-hour security officer at the gatehouse.

Recreation at Christmas Lake Village

Whether you spend time at the Recreation Center on Christmas Lake or dive in at the beach or swimming area, you’ll find plenty to do in this beautiful community. In fact, there’s a spectacularly planned park system in the community that includes a soccer field, basketball courts, tennis courts, and even baseball and softball fields.

You don’t have to stay in the community, though. It’s just a short drive from Lincoln State Park and Abraham Lincoln’s boyhood home, as well as a half-hour drive from French Lick Casino and West Baden. It’s just across the street from Holiday World Amusement Park, as well.

There are three lakes in the community with opportunities to fish, swim and boat – and you can get a boat slip on Christmas Lake, if you’d like. Christmas Lake is 217 acres, Lake Noel is 34 acres, and Lake Holly is 24 acres.
