Designed by Edmund B. Ault, the 18-hole championship golf course in Christmas Lake Village is definitely a great place to play. As part of the Christmas Lake Golf Club, which is one of the top 75 public courses in the United States, this course is also home to the Back 9 Grill and some of the most challenging play in the state.

Recreation at Christmas Lake Village

Whether you spend time at the Recreation Center on Christmas Lake or dive in at the beach or swimming area, you’ll find plenty to do in this beautiful community. In fact, there’s a spectacularly planned park system in the community that includes a soccer field, basketball courts, tennis courts, and even baseball and softball fields. 

You don’t have to stay in the community, though. It’s just a short drive from Lincoln State Park and Abraham Lincoln’s boyhood home, as well as a half-hour drive from French Lick Casino and West Baden. It’s just across the street from Holiday World Amusement Park, as well.
