Do you have an ugly, stained garage floor that you want to look nice? You could get the floor resurfaced, of course. You can hire a contractor to apply an epoxy floor coating. That can get costly and is generally used for commercial and industrial purposes. There are also less costly ways to improve your garage floor’s appearance. These include the following:

  • Interlocking tiles
  • Vinyl flooring rolls
  • Peel and stick tiles

An epoxy coating or other resurfacing is more likely to increase the value of your property, but these three ways to improve the appearance of your garage floor will still give a fresher, cleaner look to your dingy garage floor.

Interlocking Tiles

Interlocking tiles are super easy to install. Once they are snapped together, they are very stable. They won’t come apart like the interlocking garage floor mats do. Thos are softer and more pliable. These float on top of the floor but stay in place. One benefit of these is that no adhesive is used and they’re extremely durable.

Vinyl Flooring Rolls

Installing vinyl flooring rolls is pretty easy. Probably the most time-consuming aspect of this installation is making sure you remove all the pebbles that have found their way to your garage floor. All you have to do is roll the vinyl flooring out and cut away excess spots to fit. Planning ahead with careful measuring can save you from too many seams.

Peel and Stick Tiles

Peel and stick vinyl tiles do take a lot of time to install, but there is a major advantage of peel and stick tiles for garage floors over the vinyl roll. If the tile is damaged, you can remove just the one tile and replace it. When vinyl is damaged, you generally need to replace the whole roll. In order to make this look good, you will need to take good measurements. You will also want to sweet and fully wash the floor below then wait for it to dry completely.
