Radius Indiana: Wage and Benefits Survey
Radius Indiana’s Wage and Benefits Survey was designed to gather employer pay and benefits information in order to create an understanding of what the labor market is really like in southern Indiana. They invited workers from around 400 companies to take the survey. Questions involved topics like paid holidays, leave, time-off, vacation pay, insurance, annual wages and extra benefits.
The survey went out to companies and each county’s local development organization in mid-September. The findings will be released in a report early next year. This is the first large-scale wage and benefit survey for this region. Radius Indiana’s efforts are strongly supported by Dubois Strong, because a similar effort in Dubois County during recent years showed that there is significant value in understanding this type of data. The Radius Indiana’s Wage and Benefits Survey expands on the work of its earlier surveys which were targeted to specific counties. This newer survey will broaden the scope of understanding about the labor market in southern Indiana.
